Baseball WM 2009 Ticketshop
On the occasion of the baseball world championship 2009 in Europe an innovative ticket shop was integrated in the on-line brand presence of the German venue Regensburg. This leads the user in steps individually through the purchase process, which is based on the baseball metaphor of the different bases (1., 2., 3. and homebase). Within four simply serveable steps the user can select his chosen ticket, choose the seat, pay the tickets and then receives the tickets by eMail as a PDF. During the first weeks already more than 20,000 tickets (corresponds over 1/4 to the whole capacity) were sold and until the Worldcup more than 30,000 tickets.
